The need for “nutrition”, whether food for the stomach, emotions for the heart or impressions for mind and soul drive us. We need these foods to survive and thrive…

Long before the invention of writing, Oral Tradition was the primary vehicle for transmitting information. What we typically don’t think about are the emotional underpinnings.

Well, sort of. I had been reading lots of scientific stuff about Relativity, the Cosmos, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, Heidegger’s Uncertainty Principle, etc. and found it all fascinating but hard to relate to in human terms. One particular idea was that time slows as one approached the speed of light, and at the speed of light there was no passage of time. I didn’t understand the scientific equations, or really how it applied to my own life … until one day.
